在星期六夺得杆位后,马汉华和余啸峰在星期天三小时的正赛中继续保持胜利的脚步,夺得雷诺Megane Trophy在亚洲的第一次胜利,在赛车历史上留下重要的轨迹。
2011赛道英雄500公里耐力赛在星期天下午2点正式举行。果然不出所料,拥有完美线条,杆位发车的雷诺Megane Trophy在赛道发车位停下后,立即吸引了赛车场上所有人的目光,闪光灯不断。
根据车队为这一次三小时耐力赛设定好的战略,马汉华和余啸峰保持着一致且稳定的比赛步伐,一直占据着前排位置。这样的策略很成功,但是由于比赛中途遇到一些技术问题,赛车必须返回到维修区,被其他对手乘机扩大了一些距离。
经过一系列的修整,雷诺Megane Trophy很快的恢复到原有的水平,并渐渐与对手拉近距离。在比赛还剩下2分钟的时候,重新夺得首位并赢得比赛。

After taking the pole position the day before, Kenneth Ma and Frank Yu continues the success on 11th Dec, and making history in the process, by take the first win for a Renault Megane Trophy in Asia.
The 2011 Circuit Hero 500km Endurance Race began at 2:00PM on 11th Dec. To no one’s surprise, the Renault Ménage Trophy with the beautiful shape, and as the pole sitter, attracted the most attention when the cars took up the grid.
Sticking to the team strategy established for a three-hour race, both Kenneth Ma and Frank Yu were trying to maintain a consistent and non-aggressive pace to stay in the front group. The plan worked perfectly except the car had to come in to fix a damage rear diffuser and lost a few laps.
After the repair, the Renault Ménage Trophy made remarkably recovery and regained those few laps gradually. With only two minutes to go for the race, it took back the lead and eventually won the race.
After the race, Kenneth Ma indicated: “I really enjoyed this race with the Renault Ménage Trophy. It is a perfect package today for us; the engine, transmission, brake and suspension worked together perfectly. I would like to thank the technical team and my partner, Frank Yu. This is truly a demonstration of group effort and one of the reasons why the Ménage Trophy won the race. “
