　　6月19日，2011大众汽车中国赛车Scirocco R-Cup第四回合比赛结束，经过14圈的激烈角逐，意大利车手蒙特西(Stefano Montesi)站上了最高颁奖台，法国车手帕特里克(Patrick Boulaud)获得亚军，中国车手袁波首次参赛斩获季军。
　　
　　中午11点50分，比赛开始。全部赛车顺利起步，意外随即发生，杆位发车的17号车手任焱，因刹车过晚，在一号弯中打转，跟随而来的赛车躲避不及，张大胜的赛车被后车高高顶起，左侧车轮“踩过”任焱的车顶再落回赛道，任焱不得不退出比赛，一时间赛道乱成一团。受到事故影响退出的还有10号程飞，6号尹海涛和2号井田雅彦(Ida Masahiko)。
　　
　　安全车在第一圈就出动，此时排在第一位的是成功避险的法国车手帕特里克，蒙特西排在第二，而第九位发车的袁波排则在第三。张大胜落至第十四位。第六圈开始比赛恢复正常，蒙特西用最短的时间超过帕特里克占据第一位，排在队尾的张大胜也开始稳步提升自己的位置。比赛接近末尾，赛道上继续上演超车碰撞事故，从第十一圈到第十三圈，21号李超、8号包金龙和25号任炜相继退赛。
　　

　　十四圈比赛结束，蒙特西获得冠军，全场用时27分16秒867，他同时做出全场最快单圈成绩1分44秒717，帕特里克获得亚军，袁波获得季军。而一路过关斩将的张大胜最终第四名完赛。排在第五到第八名的车手是钟英伟(Eric Cheung)、杨曦、谢欣哲和翁世晶。
　　
　　赛后新闻发布会上，冠军蒙特西笑说成都赛场是具有魔力的，他幸运的躲开赛道事故，并且在安全车离开后很快超越了前车，上升到第一位。这个周末两次登上颁奖台，他非常开心。
　　
　　至此，2011大众汽车中国赛车Scirocco R-Cup已经完成了四个回合的比赛，下一站将于7月9-10日鏖战鄂尔多斯赛场。

　　Jun 19th, 2011, the Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup China round 4 went to Chengdu International Circuit. Italian driver Stefano Montesi won the race, Patrick Boulaud was 2nd and Bo Yuan, one of the new faces in Scirocco R-Cup captured a convincing 2nd runner-up.
　　
　　As the red lights went off, pole sitter Yan Ren spun at turn 1, the cars who followed Ren failed to avoid the incident, Dasheng Zhang’s car got hit in the rear and “stepped” onto Ren’s roof then fell back on the ground. Ren retired. Car No.10 David Cheng, Car No.6 Haitao Yin and Car No.2 Ida Masahiko also retired due to the incident at the start.
　　
　　Safety car was sent at the first lap with Boulaud on the lead, Montesi 2nd and Bo Yuan 3rd, Dasheng Zhang fell to 14th. The race restarted at lap 6, Montesi took the lead from Boulaud, while Zhang, on the other hand, started to move up gradually from the back. Lap 11 to 13, car No.21 Chao Li, Car No.8 Jinlong Bao and Car No.25 Wei Ren all retired from the competition.
　　
　　The 14 laps’ race finished with Montesi won, his total time was 27’16”867 and he also set the best lap 1’44”717. Boulaud 2nd and Bo Yuan 3rd. Dasheng Zhang managed to overtake a lot of cars and finished 4th. Eric Cheung, Xi Yang, Xinzhe Xie and Shijing Weng were 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th, respectively.
　　
　　At post race press-con, winner Montesi said:”It was a lucky race for me as I managed to avoid all the incidents. Chengdu track is a magic one and I had a great weekend here.”
　　
　　The 3rd event of Scirocco R-Cup China will travel back to Ordos International Circuit on July 9th & 10th.
