　　上周末在唐宁顿公园赛道举行了英国BARC雷诺方程式首站两回合的比赛，前AFR车手曹宏伟和唐伟枫的成绩各有上下：曹宏伟以第七名和第六名完赛，而唐伟枫则由于在第一回合比赛与其他车手发生碰撞，最后导致他无缘第二回合的比赛。
　　
　　经过排位赛后，曹宏伟和唐伟枫分别获得第17位和第11位发车。曹宏伟完美起步，一开赛就奋起直追，在第一圈就上升到11位。最终他通过出色的超车技巧成功为他赢得了第七名。而从第11位发车的唐伟枫第一圈同样表现出色。可惜后来他与其他赛车发生碰撞滑出了赛道，导致他的赛车损坏, 来不及维修参加第二回合比赛。
　　
　　第二回合的比赛，曹宏伟依旧出色开场，到第四圈就从17位猛升到第8位。在接下来的比赛，曹宏伟因为Fortec车队队友陈韦龙、麦克卢德和其他前面车手的战车发生故障，成功反超，最终荣夺第六名。
　　
　　经过首战的两回合比赛，曹宏伟现以34的积分排在总排名第六名。下一站将会在5月11-12日于斯内特顿赛道**开展。

　　Former AFR racers Martin Cao Hongwei and Shaun Thong Weifung finished the 2013 Protyre Formula Renault opener at Donnington Park last weekend with mixed results. Cao claimed a 7th and a 6th place finish while Thong was ruled out of race 2 after a crash at race 1.
　　
　　Both Cao and Thong struggled at qualifying as they start 17th and 11th respectively. At the start, Cao made a rocket start and slip through to 11th by the first lap. Later in the race, he did some impressive overtaking moves to move himself to a fine 7th place finish. Meanwhile, Thong also made a good start at the opening laps, but his progress was stopped by a contact with another car and he was spun off the track. The crash ended his day as the car could not be repaired on time for Race 2.
　　
　　At Race 2, Cao also made a stunning start from 17th on the grid to 8th position by lap 4. He then benefited from some frontrunners’ misfortune, including his Fortec teammates, Malaysian Weiron Tan and British Sam MacLeod. Cao finally surged through the field and finished an impressive 6th.
　　
　　After the opening rounds, Cao is now 6th in the Championship with 34 pts. The next round will be at Snetterton Circuit on 11-12 May.
