赛季第一次来到上海惊醒
比赛，他们之中却有不少非常熟悉这条赛道的车手，其中就包括了著名影视歌三栖明星郭富城。郭天王早年多次参加康巴斯系列赛、亚洲AFR方程式系列赛和克里欧中国系列赛，对上海国际赛车场的攻略非常有心得，但这个周末与他同场竞技的还有李发昌和余啸峰两名悍将，拿到杆位的郭天王要在这里取胜并非易事。
第一回合比赛开始后，郭富城努力甩开后面的雷冠贤和史蒂夫，并迅速拉开与第二集团的差距。而第二集团在一号弯处进行了激烈的拼抢，结果余锦昌在车流的挤兑中失控掉队，并影响了赛车的调校，后面的比赛速度骤降。相反郭富城则很快进入自己的节奏，把比赛变成练习赛，史蒂夫和雷冠贤则开始为第二名进行激烈拼抢。到了最后阶段，郭富城差点被第二名的史蒂夫贴上车尾，但他凭借自己对线路的熟悉稳稳守住位置，最终拿下了第一回合的冠军。郭富城赛后很满意自己的表现，并表示“我今天节奏控制很好，而且天气也不错，所以胜利多少有些在我的预料之中。”而史蒂夫也觉得受益良多，提到“跟着郭富城跑，发现了自己很多走线都可以改进，最后跟了几圈后越跑越快，和他比赛真是获益良多。”
但是第二回合刚开始，郭富城就陷入苦战。第一圈还没跑完，雷冠贤就连上两个位置夺下领先位置，郭富城被迫进入
进攻模式力求逆转。随后，比赛又多了一个有趣的变数——下雨了，第二圈时，赛道下起了小雨，虽然不一定对抓地力产生多大的影响，但肯定会降低赛车的胎温，这对急于进攻的郭富城来说并非好事，况且后面还有一个虎视眈眈的史杰。多圈进攻未果后，郭富城身后的史杰在第六圈失控落到了第七位。最后郭富城在第8圈对雷冠贤发动猛攻，最后在最后一圈成功超越后者，拿下了第二回合的冠军，雷冠贤则因失控掉头，失去了第一位的位置。结果上演超车大戏，从第7位起步并一路奋力超至第2位的刘志勇获得亚军，雷冠贤获得季军。
经历了如此多激动人心的时刻，所有赛车场内的人都能亲身感受到赛车运动的**澎湃。这些所有所有不仅是由于车手出色的表现，还来源于克里欧中国系列赛本身的魅力。下场比赛即将来临。届时将会有更多精彩的瞬间。
2011 Shanghai Audi International Circuit Series opened its curtain on May 22th at Shanghai International Circuit. Two burning races of Clio Cup China Series from FRD have been started as a part of the series. Though there is the shipping incident caused by the unpredictable reason before the race, the satisfactory ending told us all problems cannot hold the event back.With the start of the first race of the Clio season, it’s a familiar situation to all the drivers as many of them are intimately familiar with the Shanghai International Circuit (SIC). Among of them Aaron Kwok the famous star, had participated in many previous races including, GT, Campus, AFR, and Clio. This time in particular he might have a difficult time from two skilled and experienced drivers, Oliver Lee and Frank Yu, due to their performances from last year’s Clio series and the performances seen there.
Race 1
Aaron Kwok started the race leaving Steve Elmes and David Louie behind with a long lead resulting in a big fight for second place. Yu kam Cheung crashed at T1, resulting in reduced speed while Aaron Kwok continued to take the lead, with Steve Elmes and David Louie bitterly fighting for 2nd. By the middle of the race Steve Elmes quickly tried to pass AK but still didn’t cause any concern for Aaron, with him eventually taking the race. Steve Elmes expressed thoughts of respect towards Aaron Kwok, learning and developing his own skills while holding the number 2 spot, behind Aaron in the race.
Race 2
In race 2 of the Clio Cup, David Louie immediately burned past the 2 lead cars at the start of the race, taking the lead. With rain developing in the 2nd lap, the water had a cooling effect on the tires resulting in reduced traction and increasing the stress level of the drivers to perform. Frank Yu, who had a strong qualifying on Saturday with pole position, wasn’t able to hold his lead, due to a crash in the first lap. Jacky Shi following in second place tried take the lead but in the 6th lap lost the advantage and dropped to 7th position. In the 8th lap Aaron Kwok had tried to retake the lead from David Louie, after David having a 180 degree spin out he passed successfully and took first. Kenneth Lau who also races in HTCC, drove an intense race taking 2nd place from a 7th position, passing 5 cars with seasoned driving experience.
After these all breathe-taken moments, all the people in the circuit can felt the passion coming from motorsport. This is provided not only by the drivers, but also by the Clio Cup China Series itself. Next race will be around the corner. And more fantastic seconds will be on the stage.
