　　Buzz Racing的日本车手白石勇树以0.7秒的优势，夺得AFR系列赛第七回合的杆位。中国车手叶弘历在他回归AFR的第一战拿下第二名发车的成绩，令人惊喜。

　　排位赛在珠海的晴空之下举行，赛道状况适合车手造圈速。开始时，凯飞的朱里奥阿科斯塔率先造出快圈，但不久就被霜野诚友超越。白石勇树随后开始连续造出快圈，结果以1:37:499的成绩夺得头位发车的资格。

　　亚洲组的车手叶弘历在今个比赛周末都一直表现不俗，他在排位赛更加令人惊喜地夺得第二名发车位置。在他后面的是霜野诚友和阿科斯塔。香港车手王日升得第5。在他后面分别是两名女车手，亚历山德拉和新加盟AFR系列赛的娜奥米希夫。

　　亚洲赛车队ART的王家铨得第9，他也是排名最前的大师组车手。彼得奥尔森则会排第10。

　　排位赛期间发生不少事故，其中ART的年轻车手倪伟亮在9号弯打滑，赛车横放在赛道中间，导致赛会出示红旗。他的队友陆浩文和布切海特也在排位赛期间打滑冲出赛道，被逼退赛。



　　Buzz Racing’s Japanese driver Yuki Shiraishi scored pole in qualifying session for AFR Series at Zhuhai by 0.7 seconds. Chinese driver Leo Ye, meanwhile, snatched a stunning second position in his returning race.

　　The session was held in the sunny morning, and the track condition was great for drivers to get the best out of it. Julio Acosta from Champ was the pacesetter early on, but he was quickly overwhelmed by Shigetomo Shimono. Shiarishi then started to come to speed and posted a succession of quick laps and finally, he did a 1:37:499 lap and held it till the end.

　　Asian Class driver Leo Ye has been quick all weekend and he surprised all by scoring a front row start, ahead of championship contenders Shimono and Acosta. Hong Kong’s Sunny Wong got 5th ahead of the female duo, Alexandra Asmasoebrata and series debutant Naomi Schiff.

　　ART’s Leo Wong was the fastest of the Master Class and he scored 9th, while Pete Olson brought up the top 10.

　　The session was interrupted by a series of spins and off, including ART’s young driver Ni Wei Liang, who spun in the middle of T9 and brought out the red flag at the dying moment of qualifying. His teammates, Thomas Luedi and Robert Buchheit also spun and off to the gravel. Their session ended early as a result.
