2014赛季 AFR将增设上海及马来西亚分站

　　在2014年，AFR系列赛将会有六个周末的比赛。其中会在珠海举行4场赛事，作为泛珠三角赛车节和珠海500公里耐力赛期间的赛事。另外两个周末将会于上海国际赛车场和马来西亚吉隆坡雪邦赛车场举行，并会在上述两站分别上演三个回合的赛事。

　　今季的赛规亦会有改变。今年每一场赛事将会为25分钟加一圈的赛事。排位赛也会有所转变: 第二回合的排位不会再由第一回合的赛果决定，而是从排位赛中第二快的时间作为第二回合的排位，第一快时间则继续决定第一回合的排位。至于在有第三回合的赛站，排位则会根据车手在第一及第二回合绩分的加总来决定。

　　今年的比赛同样会分成三个级别。国际组仍然是最高级别的比赛，亚洲组则是让年轻的亚洲新秀车手表演的舞台，而大师组就是35岁以上车手的赛事。

　　新赛规出台，并有新赛道的比赛，2014亚洲雷诺方程式系列赛将会更加刺激，更加精彩。请拭目以待!

　　2014 will be a revolutionary season for Asian Formula Renault (AFR) Series as; the racing circus will go beyond China to Malaysia and will come up with several changes in regulations.

　　Next year, the AFR Series will feature a 6-weekend race schedule. Zhuhai will be, as usual, the base of the Series and will feature 4 race meetings in total as a supporting race for ZIC’s Pan Delta Super Series and Circuit Hero 500 weekend. The other 2 weekends will feature 3 races each in the Shanghai F1 Circuit and, for the first time since 2008, Sepang International Circuit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

　　With new calendar is out, the Series will undergo some changes in regulations. The most significant change will be that the race will now be a timed race with 25 minute plus one lap. There will be changes in qualifying format as well as Race 2 of each event will not be decided by Race 1 results but by the second best lap time set during the only qualifying session of the weekend. For weekends that will feature 3 races, which will be held in Shanghai and Sepang, the third race’s grid will be decided by the points-tally of Race 1 and Race 2.

　　This year’s Championship will still consist of 3 classes. International will still be the primary Championship. Asian will be a contest between rookies and Masters will be for Gentlemen drivers.

　　With new rules and new circuits in place, 2014 Asian Formula Renault Series season will be wide open for competitors and will be the one to watch for car enthusiasts.
