9月18日凌晨,Scirocco R-Cup12小时耐力赛终见分晓。尹海涛、卢文聪(Joseph Lo)和卢文康(Kenny Lo)获得冠军,程飞(David Cheng)、Miles Maroney(马罗尼)、奥特伯格(Aleksander Altberg)获得亚军,安德烈亚(Andrea Reggiani)、张灵康(Ringo Chong)和杨志勇(Eric Yeo)获得季军。
比赛从17日中午12点开始,一共进行了12小时零2分钟。1小时过后,维修区里开始了热闹的进站场面。Scirocco R-Cup的赛车纷纷驶回维修区加油、换胎、更换
车手。根据赛事规则,一名车手最多可以连续驾驶75分钟。Scirocco R-Cup的赛车的载油量大概可以坚持60分钟的比赛。
第一个小时,Scirocco R-Cup最好成绩是79号赛车,注册车手Eric Lo,一共完成23圈比赛,行驶里程约127.5公里。
接下来的比赛中,89号赛车陆恭和车队因为故障在维修区内休整,损失了很多时间,两小时比赛结束时,他只完成了27圈。这一段成绩最好的是85号尹海涛,两小时总共完成45圈。而这一段完成44圈比赛的有80号安德烈亚,79号Eric Lo,97号手张
大胜,92号帕特里克(Patrick Boulaud)。
第三小时,92号赛车回维修区修车,在这一阶段只完成了11圈的比赛。第三小时比赛成绩最好的是82号蒙特西(Stefano Montesi),完成了65圈,行驶里程约为360.3公里。同样完成65圈比赛的还有80号、85号和90号(注册车手程飞)。

第四小时,80号安德烈亚车队完成87圈比赛暂时领先。同样完成了87圈比赛的还有90号和85号。本阶段损失时间最多的是91号(注册车手高祖逊),赛车因为加油部件故障而延长了维修时间,仅完成11圈。92号赛车,右前轮故障,遗憾退赛。而一度领先的82号赛车也在维修区浪费不少时间。97号赛车则因为在比赛中的碰撞导致左侧车门变形,车手只能从右侧车门进出,在停站中花费更多的时间。
五小时过后,80号
继续领跑,完成了113圈。90号和85号都进入112圈,97号完成了111圈。根据赛车的磨损程度,技师开始安排车辆先后进站更换刹车盘,保证比赛顺利进行。
在之前比赛中赛车出现故障的96号(注册车手李超)在车手和技师们的坚持努力下,赛车得以驶回维修区。截止到此时,它总共完成了108圈比赛。
下午六点,雪邦赛场亮起灯光。80号赛车领跑Scirocco R尽管在这一阶段它只跑了17圈。85号赛车也完成了129圈的比赛,90号和81号赛车分别完成了128圈比赛。
6点40分左右,96号赛车经过维修驶回赛道,暂时排在全场第34位。7点过后,天已经完全黑下来,80号赛车继续领先,此时它排在房车组第四位,全场第十六位。90号赛车在五秒开外的距离紧随其后。在之前比赛中受伤的97号赛车支持不住退出比赛,它总共完成了151圈,退出时排在Scirocco R的第三位。随后出现状况的是一直领先的80号赛车,在更换了传动轴后重新回到赛道,已经落后领先的85号赛车有5圈。8点47分,在碰撞中爆了左前胎的82号蒙特西的赛车回到维修区,1分钟后换好轮胎返回比赛。
10点11分81号赛车(注册车手井田雅彦Ida Masahiko)在行驶中冲出赛道陷入沙池退出比赛。比赛还剩下1个半小时,85号赛车完成了225圈,90号赛车完成了224圈,98号(注册车手许家泰)完成了222圈,80号完成了221圈。
11点过后,维修区里开始了最后一次车手轮换,驾驶85号的是卢文聪,驾驶90号的是马罗尼,驾驶98号的是许家泰,驾驶80号的是张灵康。
18日零点零二分,MMER在进行了12小时加一圈之后全场比赛结束,85号赛车排在全场第12位,房车组第4位,共计完成比赛259圈,行驶里程约为1435.64公里,尹海涛同时获得Scirocco R-Cup第十回合的冠军。90号赛车排在全场第13位,房车组第5位,也进入了259圈军团,程飞以10秒之差获得Scirocco R-Cup第十回合的亚军。80号赛车排在全场第16位,房车组第7位,完成比赛255圈,安德烈亚获得Scirocco R-Cup第十回合比赛的季军。

12小时耐力赛让Scirocco R-Cup的车手们体验了全然不同的比赛形式,收获了团队合作的乐趣和心得,不论成败,车手们都表示这场比赛很让人兴奋,也很难忘。 大众汽车

The first ever Scirocco R-Cup China 12 hours race was concluded early morning on September 18th. Yin Haitao, Joseph Lo, Kenny Lo were the winners; David Cheng, Miles Maroney, Aleksander Altberg were 2nd; Andrea Reggiani, Ringo Chong and Eric Yeo captured 3rd.
The race was started at 12:00 sharp (September 17th) and finished 12 hours later. After 1 hour, drivers started to drive back to pit for refuel, tire and driver change. Scirocco R’s fuel tank need to be refueled every other hour.
The first hour, car No.79 (registered driver Eric Lo) was leading the Scirocco R cars with 23 laps. The 2nd hour, car No.89 William Lok’s car experienced some problem and went back to pit. This pit stop cost Lok a lot of time and during 2 hours’ race, his team only finished 27 laps. Car No.85 Yin’s car took lead (45 laps in 2 hours). Reggiani (car No.80), Eric Lo (car No.79), Zhang Dasheng (car No.97) and Patrick Boulaud (car No.92) all finished 44 laps.
The 3rd hour saw car No.92 went back to pit to repair and they finished only 11 laps in this hour. Car No.82 Montesi took lead with 65 laps. Car No.80, No.85 and No.90 (David Cheng) also marched into 65 laps.
The 4th hour, car No.80 Andrea Reggiani took the lead amongst Scirocco R cars (87 laps) with car No.90 & No.85 following closely on the back. During this hour, car No.91 (Joeson Ko) experienced some refueling problem and only finished 11 laps. Car No.92 had technical problem and retired. Car No.97 had some contact with another car during the race and the left door was broken. During driver change, the driver can only come in and out through the right side, which cost car No.97 a lot of time.
During the 5th hour, car No.80 was still on lead with 113 laps. Car No.90 and No.85 marched into 112 laps group, car No.97 finished 111 laps. According to the using limit of the break system, the technical team arranged all the cars to come back in particular order to change break parts.
Around 6:40 p.m. car No. 96 rejoined the race after some repair and they were overall 34th. It turned dark after 7:00 p.m., car No.80 was still leading and they were overall 16th and 4th in Touring Class. Car No.90 was following No.80 very closely. Car No.97, who experienced some accident during the race, retired at the 7th hour (they were 3rd in Scirocco R when retired). Car No.80 repaired their transmission and when they rejoined, they were already 5 laps behind car No.85. 8:47 p.m. car No.82 had a contact on the track and had a tire puncture on the front. Montesi returned to pit and rejoined after 1 minute.
22:11 car No.81 (Ida Masahiko) ran off the track into the gravel and retired. With only 1 hour and half to go, car No.85 finished 225 laps on lead, car No.90 did 224 laps. No.98 Hui Ka Tai did 222 laps, while car No.80 at their 221st lap.

After 23:00, the last shift change occurred at pit lane. Car No.85 was driven by Joseph Lo, whole Miles Maroney was behind the wheels in car No.90. Hui Ka Tai was in car No.98 and Ringo Chong in car No.80.
00:02 September 18th morning, the 12-hour race was concluded. Car No.85 was overall 12th and 4th in Touring Class, with 259 laps finished (1435.64 KM). Yin Haitao was also the winner of Scirocco R-Cup China round 10. Car No.90 was overall 13th and 5th in Touring Class (also 259 laps and only 11 seconds gap with the winner), David Cheng was 2nd in Scirocco R-Cup China round 10. Car No.80 was overall 16th with 255 race laps finished. Reggiani was 3rd in Round 10.
The 12-hour race was Scirocco R’s first ever endurance race and it brought brand new experience to the Scirocco R drivers. The next event of Scirocco R-Cup China will travel back to motherland China and race at the renowned Shanghai Formula 1 track (SIC) in October.
