中国房车锦标赛第七站的排位赛在10月15日下午2点10分准时在广东国际赛车场进行比赛。和之前预计的一样，来自东风起亚778车队的卢家骏，因在两星期前的天马站遗憾退赛而减重100公斤后，本周赢得了超级量产车自然进气组的首位。
长安福特车队的两位车手：江腾一和何晓乐分别取得超级量产车自然进气组第二和第三位。在总的成绩表上来看，三位来自大众333车队的车手，充分利用从上一站就开始实行的特别减重50公斤规定，包揽了前五位其中三位。
由于下午的天气越来越热，4位长安福特车手在排位赛一开始就出车，希望能在排位表上占据领先位置。但不幸的是，赛车的加重问题让福克斯赛车在一个要求快速加速，提供最快速度和加重刹车的赛道上不能发挥最佳性能。在排位赛的前段部分，4位车手的最快圈速只能在成绩表的中段位置徘徊。
