　　2012年12月7日，FPC青年方程式系列赛第十七回合的争夺在下午5：08准时来到雪邦国际赛车场。6圈的比赛结束，高勒佩德(Parth Ghorpade, 2#, Eurasia Motorsport)雨中夺冠；威尔斯(Dan Wells,16号,KCMG) 获得亚军；盖勒埃尔(Sean Gelael, 7#, Eurasia Motorsport)，获得该回合季军。
　　
　　周五中午第十六回合的最快单圈决定了第十七回合的发车位，吉尔乌纳奇(Antonio Giovinazzi)和高勒佩德占据头排，巴拉特(Raj Bharath)和威尔斯(Dan Wells)从第二排起跑。比赛一开始，高勒佩德(P2)在第一圈就超越杆位起跑的意大利人，开始领跑比赛。中国车手袁波(66#)和胡斯佩斯(Sean Hudspeth, 6#)在一号弯前发生碰撞，双双退赛。
　　
　　一圈回来，威尔斯超越前车来到第二位，吉尔乌纳奇和巴拉特暂列第三、第四名。中国车手孙正(87#)从第十三位发车，两圈回来已经攀升到了第五的位置。比赛进行到第三圈，雪邦赛道上空忽降大雨，所有的赛车都是干胎迎战，第四圈开始有赛车在赛道上打滑，盖勒埃尔在雨中从第七位上升到第四位。
　　
　　最后一圈，比赛进行到终点线前的最后一个弯角时戏剧性的一幕发生，连续七台赛车在过弯时滑出赛道，其中只有两台成功返回比赛，最终高勒佩德第一个冲线，获得全场组和亚洲组的双料冠军；威尔斯获得全场第二；盖勒埃尔第三并获得亚洲组第二，伊赫万(Afiq IKhwan)全场第四同时获得亚洲组季军。中国车手尹海涛全场第五，离颁奖台一步之遥。

　　Round 17 of Formula Pilota China was held at Sepang International Circuit on December 7th, 2012. Parth Ghorpade (2#, Eurasia Motorsport) won the wet race. Dan Wells (16#, KCMG) was 2nd, while Sean Gelael (7#, Eurasia Motorpsort) captured 3rd.
　　
　　The race started at 17:08. The grid featured Antonio Giovinazzi and Ghorpade on the front row; Raj Bharath and Dan Wells stood the 2nd row. As the race started, Ghorpade (P2) managed to overtake pole-sitter Giovinazzi. Chinese driver Yuan Bo (66#) and Sean Hudspeth (6#) had a contact when passing T1 and both retired from the race. After 1 lap, Wells (P4 on grid) managed to move up to P2, followed by Giovinazzi (P3) and Bharath (P4). Chinese driver Sun Zheng (87#, Super), who started from P13, managed to move up to P5 after 2 laps.
　　
　　At lap 3, it started to rain and all the cars were on slick. The track became quite slippery. At last lap, 7 cars ran off the track at last turn and 2 managed to rejoin. In the end, Ghorpade was overall 1st and also winner in Asian Class. Wells captured 2nd, while Gelael was overall 3rd and 2nd in Asian Class. Afiq Ikhwan was overall 4th and 3rd in Asian Class. Chinese driver Yin Hai Tao was 5th.
